Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts Partners with Sony Music for New Enrique Iglesias Music Video

Released today, the music video was filmed in Samana, Dominican Republic, where Bahia Principe owns four all-inclusive properties.

Miami, FL. (July 8, 2021) – Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts, the leader in all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean, has liaised with the international music company, Sony Music, to film the video “Me Pasé”, Enrique Iglesias’ latest release featuring reggaeton star Farruko. Renowned internationally as the king of Latin Pop, Enrique Iglesias returns for the summer season delighting millions of fans with an infectious single and upbeat music video, filmed entirely in the Samana province of the Dominican Republic.

Samana, a tropical destination like no other and ideal year-round getaway, is home to four of Bahia Principe’s all-inclusive hotels: the exclusive Bahia Principe Luxury Cayo Levantado; the adults-only Bahia Principe Luxury Samana; the newly-renovated and family-friendly Bahia Principe Grand El Portillo; and Bahia Principe Grand Cayacoa – a cozy yet breathtaking property. The Spain-based brand is the market leader in terms of owned hotel beds in both Samana and the Dominican Republic as a whole.

A couple of panoramic clips within the music video highlight Cayo Levantado, the island in which Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts operates Bahia Principe Luxury Cayo Levantado, and where they own a majority stake of the island’s beaches. The award-winning property boasts elegantly appointed accommodations, world-class amenities, multiple swimming pools, various restaurants and bars, and exciting activities and entertainment for guests of all ages. Guests receive direct access to the brand’s pristine, private beaches in Cayo Levantado.

Other scenes of the music video were filmed at palm-lined Playa El Morón, a secluded beach in Las Terrenas, Samana, one of the Dominican Republic’s most picturesque and emblematic oceanfront towns.

A group of performers that participated in the creation of the music video were hosted at Bahia Principe Grand El Portillo, located in Las Terrenas. Following an extensive USD $10 million renovation, the property reopened its doors in December 2020 and offers distinct experiences that please young children, teens, and adults alike. The renovation concept, “Mirror of the Sea,” can be seen through the colors, textures, and lighting, all of which mimic the surrounding marine environment, and directly reflects the life and vibrant personality of Las Terrenas. Bahia Principe Grand El Portillo overlooks the Samana Bay, a natural harbor that is home to miles of untouched beaches, golden sand, and turquoise waters.

U.S. travelers can reach the Samana El Catey International Airport via non-stop flights offered by American Airlines. Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts is pleased to welcome guests to Bahia Principe Grand Portillo following its December reopening and expects to reopen Bahia Principe Luxury Cayo Levantado and Bahia Principe Luxury Samana on November 1st, 2021.

Delivering electric, stunningly vibrant rhythms made for dancing, “Me Pasé” will form part of Iglesias’ new album coming September of 2021, and joins his remarkable, record-breaking catalog of worldwide hits released under Sony Music.
